Hi,

Please try this solution:
https://www.gavick.com/forums/storebox- ... 28108.html
check your Fest/gavern/helpers/helpers.features.php

I did that and the replacement is already in the helpers.features.php file - and the freezing of the widgets happened anyway - now for the second time. I had to delete my WP database and import/configure the site once more. Not a very durable solution ... any suggestions?

Could you give me more details when it is happened? What widget rules set etc? Because I just put Text widget on your Bottom II widget position and it's ok, I can edit, set widget rules, styles..

You got the login. Maybe it's easier if you check your self? I've been using the widgets that are active now and with that configuration. The last time it went wrong it was in conjunction with trying to use a text-widget in the footer-section (as explained above). Seems like it could be something related to the use of text-widgets. As far as I remember, it was also i connection with using a text widget that it went wrong the first time.

I gave you a login a login - is it you that:

a) put in a test text in "bottom II widgets"?

b) installed the Tumblr Importer plugin?

We need to go live - so please: I would like you not to make changes ...

a) Yes I put this widget, because you said that I can check this problem myself and it happened after trying to configure Bottom Widgets II using a text widget, but you're right, i could remove this widget.
Unforunately i didn't notice this issue with widgets update.

b) No, I didn't install or activate any plugins.

There's no problem with the widgets now because I reinstalled the site and imported the data-base again. This is - at the current state - what I have to do to make it work again.

As I mentioned I already did that twice now. I'm just wondering when freezing widgets will happen again, maybe during the event (??) which will be very bad.

But what you're telling me is that you're not able to locate the problem and that I have to wait until it happens again before you can start working on it - right?

I checked many widget variations on my theme Fest installation and didn't notice this problem. When it's happen again to you, please don't import the database again, just send me a PM with backend access so I'll see as it looks.

BTW are you sure that it's necessary to import database again when it's happened? You can't remove or change any widgets then? Sorry but for now I have no reports from others users with this issue and also can't reproduce this on my installation, so have no idea how to fix it.

Ok, I've tried different things and ended up with the "big" solution to solve the problem. I'll contact you if it happens again. Thank you for your effort.
