Remove facebook OG implementation from theme?

The facebook plugin adds this automatically and your theme seems to circumvent that - forcing each and every page to have information entered twice - the featured image and the excerpt.

If it isn't added on every page, the theme returns bare code when the facebook like/share/etc tools are used.

And yes, I know it can be disabled in the theme settings - but it still does something funky with OG data. Running it through the fb developer debugging tool it seems to disable go:image and og:description so that the official facebook plugin for wordpress can't create the data.

Sorry but I don't understand where is the problem - when the OG implementation is disabled in the theme, then the og:* metatags are not generated by the script - we are not doing anything else with the og:* tags.
