another instance of GK Speakers at bottom of homepage

I'm trying to put another instance of GK Speakers at bottom of homepage.

I have a category of speakers name "Technique", to give credit to crew in charge of technical stuffs.

I managed to create a Technique page (that was discussed here)

But now, if I want to showcase this category of speakers in another instance of GK Speakers, I have trouble with the widget's parameters.


If I put "technique" as the category slug in the widget parameters, I get no speakers showing in the widget on the frontend.

The only way I get any speakers to show in the front end is by leaving the category slug blank (empty).


And then I get all the speakers, regardless of their category. Like this.

Can you guys answer the forum posts ? Is too much to ask as a paying customer ?

Have You got atleast 5 speakers in that new category?

You are right.
I only had 4 speakers in that category.
I added 2, total 6 and now it's working

Problem solved.

Also if You have only 5 speakers, please replace:
/wp-content/themes/Fest/js/wigets/speakers.js
with attached file:
