Hey everyone,

I am organizing an event and so I bought the Fest theme to that end. I assumed that everything would be as simple as editing fields in the Dashboard. I guess I was wrong.

I'm going to have a hard time getting it all together, but right now I'm having trouble getting the countdown clock on the homepage, as shown in the demo. Is there anyone else who managed to achieve this? Am I supposed to code it in, or is there a plugin that I need to add?

I checked the documentation but there is nothing that specifically relates to the Fest theme.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

The easiest way to reproduce our theme demo content is using the quickstart package - this install will reproduce our demo wordpress installation, in other cases you will have to set up all widgets manually.

Hey dziudek,

Thanks I did that and it's working great now. I'm having trouble find the post/page/option that modifies the homepage content though. Where would I find that?

Do you mean disabiling the posts distplay on the frontpage? If yes, then please go to the Theme Basic options and enable option "Widgets Display on Homepage" - then you will be able to use the mainbody widget area to display content instead of posts on the homepage.

Thanks I got a handle it on it now.

I'm having trouble finding a way to modify link-outs for the social buttons, is that in a .php files or in the Fest settings?

Also, my <title> isn't changing, even though I modified wp-blog-header.php. I couldn't find header.php, is it located somewhere in the directories?

Thanks for handling my questions.

The Social Icons are a GK Social Icons widget - you can edit in its settings all links.

The title tag is handled by the theme SEO settings - please open the "SEO" tab in the theme's settings and set the title parts or disable using the GavernWP SEO settings, then the title will be loaded using standard WordPress settings.

Thanks. Hopefully this will be the last question: where would I got edit to modify what image files show up on the homepage? I just want to modify the extensions.

I figured it out, I suppose I should try even harder each time. It's just that I'm pressed for time.
