Error on joomla 3 ?

I have made an fresh install of joomla 3.0, after I have installed GK4 image show, when I enter the module settings I get:
Fatal error: Call to undefined method JFactory::getXMLParser() in /home/kamont/public_html/2013/modules/mod_image_show_gk4/admin/elements/config.php on line 28

any idea why this is happening?

As far as I know that function was removed from Joomla 3.0 that is why you might be seeing that error. I ll double check with developers.

Edit: I have checked with developers and above is already changed in Image Show GK4 J3.0 compatible versions so can you please double check your Image Show GK4 version and make sure you are not using j2.5 variant.

there is only one version that states:

am I missing something?

There are 2 separate versions, try first link and let me know if error still occurs

it works know! but I couldnt find that version anywhere? if you check the homepage/joomla modules/image show you will get only one download version

Glad it worked. Just for future reference when you go to download menu can you see links separately for joomla 3.0 and joomla 2.5 extension or not.

I was taking different approach, I went to joomla modules and then to the extension... hank you for pointing into the right direction!

hi i am having same problem it is due to Joomla 3 quick-start package has Joomla 2.5 image gk4 module please repackage? i have tried uninstalling the packaged one then installing new one it works but it looses all the styling
