thumbs next to newslist on startpage

hi,

i´m using the Gamebox template and make the news via the K2 module.

just wonder, if it is possible to have really small thumbs in front of
the text in the news list overview on my frontpage.

att. a pic that you understand better what i´m looking for.

the 1st one is the actual status
the 2nd one is how i would like to have it.
