As I understood reading the module documentation, I should be able to see new module positions when editing/creating a new module, but that isn't the case. What is the problem there, or did I not understand the concept of the module correctly?

I've installed grid gk5 module and I made a simple layout
As I understood reading the module documentation, I should be able to see new module positions when editing/creating a new module, but that isn't the case. What is the problem there, or did I not understand the concept of the module correctly?

Hello,
You wrongly understand the documentation - the module position used as a grid areas should exists in your template so you have to add it in the templateDetails.xml file.

I figured it out. I just had to type the module position in, and it worked. I tested it with 5 "Random Image" modules using a grid an it works perfectly.
