nsp layout issue

This is more a CSS understanding problem than a module problem, but I'm struggling to get the module to show just the way I want. The primary issue is the thumbnail. I'd like it to the right of both the heading and the article. It keeps going either above or below the heading, or to the right of just the text - but not to the right of both heading and text together - allowing for a bigger thumbnail.

Does that make sense?

What do I need in the article layout settings? This is just with header, image and text.
