joomla 2.5 doesn't show updates for new show pro

In Joomla 2.5 I purge cache and check for updates and also do discover. It will show updates for other extensions from other companies. then all I do is click update. However when I go to module for news show pro, it shows there have been updates since 3.1.2. But I have to uninstall and reinstall complete extension. How come it doesn't show an option to just update this like other extensions.

If you are talking about build in Joomla updates manager - this which display info right after login to backend - the News Show Pro don't have support for this feature and you need to check udpates via module settings.
