Removing field with date, author and hits

I don't want any of the Info to show (date / author / hits etc.) on my news stories. If I delete the text in the Article Layout > Informations > Info format box and hit 'save' it automatically fills in again.

Can somebody please tell me how to remove this field?

The line '30-05-2012 Hits:27 Blog Alex Kemmis Betty' is controlled in the module under Article Layout > Informations > Info format box. If I delete all the '%DATE %HITS %CATEGORY %AUTHOR' data from the box and hit 'save' it automatically fills in again.

I want to remove this line completely from all posts.

Yes now it makes a perfect sense I was just not expecting NSP as a component.

"%DATE %HITS %CATEGORY %AUTHOR" is a mask and cannot be left empty. But You can easily disable the whole this area by selecting OFF for "Info" in article layout.
