When I have a second language as default and the Virtuemart only in that other language ( for example Greek) the News Show Pro module doesn't work. Its says that " I don't have installed virtuemart e.t.c". When I "Translate" a category to English it works.

So I guess that this is a bug? How can I make this module read my Greek Virtuemart Categories and products?

There is no way to achieve multilanguage with VM source on NSP, mainly because of configuration issue, you can display products from category that can't be even created in another language. Of course you can select source from additional language but you need to remember to create categories for this language and set to them some products (in product details you also need to change language) now probably you don't have any product set to Greek language and it is why you see this message.

All my products are in Greek language only. So I can't explain the error.

After so many days, still no answer or fix. This is what you call support for your products?

I have the same problem (which other customers already posted in the template forum).
NSP isn´t working with VM and another language than english.

Please fix this severe problem as customers paid for correct functioning templates. If some templates only are functioning with english as the main language you have to mention this clearly.
And please don´t tell us that this is a problem of VM......it is not!

Kind Regards

Please read other topics related with this issue, the News Show Pro module is working properly with VM content but firstly you need to create categories/products for this particular language and make it as a default in VM settings - that's all.

Thank you for your quick reply.

I already changed the language settings for Joomla 2.5 and VM 2.0.2 to german. Categories and product are shown within the vm-menues and everything is working as expected. I also tried another extension for featured products (ERA Product module from Virtueplanet) which is working fine too.
Only NSP remains showing "Error: No articles to display".

Any helpful hints?
