News Show Pro GK4 works with k2 categories only

News Show Pro GK4 works with k2 categories only

Hi all I am new with News Show Pro GK4 and I love it.
I am using The_World_News_II template with gk_twn2_quickstart_J!17.
I am using News Show Pro GK4 as it appear in the template under the name of Editor's Picks.
When I go to Data source/Source of articles, It works only by selecting k2 categories (and selecting the category that I like to appear) and not joomla categories or articles can you help me? Thanks in advance.
