If I create a new category and a linked article, when I enter as "news pro GK5" I do not highlight the category. Why?

Sorry but could you explain it by different way? You miss category in News Show Pro or something is article view?

The category work fine. Only when I click the preview, THE ARTICLE is not linked to the category. I have just seen that in the " portafolio mode setting" there is a url for the link: "index.php/k2/k2-categories", while in the preview of GK5 i see only " k2/k2 item". Where i put this suffis in new category?. I think that this is the problem.

Maybe the problem is related with menu association, please look at this article http://www.gavick.com/documentation/questions/how-to-make-links-working/. Please also make one test when SEF URL's are disabled.
