Menu items do not carry over to article (goes back to stock)

Not sure why this is happening (it has never happened with any of the other templates) but after creating the menu items on the main page and the sub items and linking the articles, once I get to the new article, it still shows the stock menu items (before I made the change). Any ideas?

try few solutions/concepts

1) Empty CMS cache, I check again on different browser(s)
2) Change template from A to B - and see it this issue still exist ?

I'm not sure if template can change behavior of menu items. Template is rather like a paint not a engine.

Looks like defaulting to the Creativity-Frontpage fixed the issue, it was defaulted to Creativity-subpages.
