Is there a way to get rid of these modules in my VM page?

Notice the Featured Products and the Top Ten Products modules underneath the categories on this page.
Is there any way I can get rid of those two modules?

See Virtuemart > Configurations > Templates > Right side ( Show featured, Show Top Ten Products ) untick them.

However, unclicking those options still keeps the featured items on my page.

Even with the default layout, I still can't remove those items.

I apologise for all the how to questions.
Can I get other details to you? Right now I am making my website locally. I will be uploading it to a host next week sometime.

I ll check this out in my server and let you know how I get on. I will post back in here.

I have just checked this using latest available quickstart version, disabling feature products and top ten products in virtuemart template settings hides these so what is your template and virtuemart version.

I am using the gavick bike shop 2.5 joomla version, and my virtuemart version is 2.0.22.
Funny thing is, I restarted the job with a clean template, and I was able to get rid of them no problem. My only issue came when I changed some type of css. I did not catch what, but for some reason the vm module came back to the bottom of my categories page, although it is switched off in my configurations.
Do you have any tips for how to figure this out? Perhaps I can post some of my code to you here on the forum?

Css has no effect while rendering html output. While these are switched off in virtuemart it does not even get rendered in html output so css only effects styling.

So it must be something else you are doing.

Anyway you can back trace your changes.
