unable to edit tabs

Hi the tabs looks great but its driving me nuts trying to edit them. http://www.warriorcafe.com/ncma

I cant seem to find how you edit the demo tabs titles
When i check the tabs section in the module it is blank and cant seem to create new ones

I have read or as best i can the manual http://www.gavick.com/documentation/joo ... /tabs-gk5/ still finding im getting no where. Can someone help please ?

sure. Please send me access to backend I will try to add/create some dummy tabs - and you will see how it works.

GK tabs uses other modules published on 'tab1', tabs2 etc. positions.

I have checked you back-end,
and seems that is something wrong with "code after compression" - but I can not say why, some lines are broken.
It could be conflict with ???
I also tried to uninstall and install again module without result.
I saw that sometimes people have problems after update from J2.5 to 3.2.3.

Sorry. Right now I can not help.
You have two options:
1) use another Tabs module - there are plenty of them, so no problem to find similar.
2) Wait until J3.3 (at least RC) will be ready, maybe it will repair your Joomla.


p.s. Module is correct it works on most sites without problems.

I'm having this problem too. J3.3.4, with Tabs GK5 v. 1.7.2.

As it turns out, in my case, I was just confused by the name of the module being used to manage the tabs in the quickstart demo.

The module was called "Tabs Banner". I was looking at the two modules called "Tabs - Latest Stories" and "Tabs - New Games", which don't have any way to change the tab text.

"Tabs Banner" has a Tabs parameter heading and that is where one can edit the tab text.

I renamed it to "Tabs Home Page" which made more sense to me, because I wouldn't have thought of that part of the Home page as a "banner", even though I found out after the fact that its position is called "banner_left", or something like that.
