Error when I'm trying to install the template

Hello, I'm trying to install the template but I receive an error message that the system could not find xml setup file.
I'm using joomla v 2.5.16.
Could you help me?

Hi.
First, check if you're able to install any other extension or template.
Second, Joomla 2.5 allows you to install using alternative solutions.

also by manual installation:

No extensions have been discovered. Click Discover to find new extensions that might be available for install.

I also tried to install j3 and download the restaurant template for v3
I suppose there is a problem on the template installation package.

Have you tried to install another gk templates for J3.2 ?

Hmm..on my webpage with J3.2 on board -- no problem with template installation.

This template is very heavy (>3,3 MB) and probably your hosting have limitations.


You can try to slim down template...
Please from template package delete all files from gk_restaurant\images -- your template should have now less than 1 MB
and try to install again....
if it will works copy those images using FTP from untouched template zip.

I'm installing it on local.. through xampp..
I tried with other gk templates without problems..

Did you tried my solution with LIGHT template (no images) ?
Still this same problems?

As you can guess if you are using localhost -- I can not help you online.

p.s
maybe it stupid idea but ... copy you Joomla on normal server -- install template and copy again to localhost.
I don't know why you can not load this one. It's code looks similar to others templates.
