Frontend submission of K2 items

Hi!

I have just found out that the link included in the user menu "Create article" is not directed to K2 but to the joomla article system. How can I allow users create K2 items from the frontend? I have tried including the item menu "item edit form" but it doesn't work. Any idea?

Sorry, more details. I'm using the Restaurant template with Joomla 3.1. I have changed permissions as mentioned https://www.gavick.com/forums/magazine-joomla3/create-article-front-end-25684.html . The link is appearing but it gives error 403 http://cocinando.rotoydescosio.es/index.php/crear-item
