Can't publish menu items

Hi!
I"ve been installed Restaurant template couple of days ago and i deleted the menus that were created in quickstart and created my own menu items. The problem is the newly created menu items appear unpublished in admin, but in frontend they are published.
This is not normal!
Please help me!
