I am getting this error when attempting to delete users:

You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'WHERE ='641'' at line 1 SQL=SELECT `id` FROM WHERE ='641'

Please help me fix this.

Thanks,

David

It seems like an issue not corresponding to our template. Do You get the same error when template is set to one of defaults (Beeze for example)?

Hello Cyberek,

Thank you for the quick response. It is an issue in the admin panel, so I'm not sure how I would test that... How would you recommend to test it?

Thanks,

David

If You change template to Beeze and everything works, then write back - as it would be a problem with our template. If not - then You would probably reinstall entire administration folder as it might be damaged.
There also might be other reasons - changes in your hosting company php.ini settings etc. Its quite hard to guess.

Cyberek,

First of all, thank you for your help. I think there is something seriously wrong with the quickstart installation of this template. A lot of things are not functioning properly with my website and I have installed Joomla many times before. I have already put a lot of work into this site, and re-installing would require hours and hours of work. I've also tried creating a new database, but it didn't seem to help. I think at this point, fixing the issue is out of the scope of what I am capable of doing (I am still a bit of a newbie). Can you possibly look further into it? All I want is for this template to function properly...

Thanks,

David

Could You upload a small file named phpinfo.php to root of Yur Joomla installation, with content of the file:
<?php phpinfo(); >?
and share an URL to your site?

You have display_errors set to on. On 3rd step of Jomla QuickStart package there is an info, that this is not recommended setting. Ask your hosting provider how to change it, and You will have no problems with installing big templates in future.
