I'd like to integrate the template's login feature with Jomsocial... It can be as simple as changing the "Register" link from Joomla registration to Jomsocial...

I'd also like to modify these links:

How could I accomplish this?

Hi

This template is using a popup with module position called "login", so please just publish jomsocial register/login modue in this position.

Hey teitbite, thank you for your response. I apologize, but I'm a bit new to this... I can't seem to find a JomSocial register/login module. Can you point me in a more specific direction?

Thanks again!

Hi,
this login module in JomSocial is called mod_hellome.zip (Hello Me) - you have to install it separate from your jomsocial package. It's in this file modules_unzip_first_2.8.4.x.zip - please unzip package before installing, hellome module.

p.s.
If you need any help with JomSocial just ask me, I've using this component since version 1.2

Hey Pawel,

Thank you for the response. I did exactly as you said, but it doesn't seem to have replaced the Joomla login system. My site is http://www.virtualwag.com. If you click on the "Login" button in the top right you will see... The register link still redirects to the Joomla login. Please advise :D

But [login/register] button which you use in top menu is not from JomSocial that's why.
If somebody will go here : http://www.virtualwag.com/community
it will get jomsocial registration: http://www.virtualwag.com/community/register

This template was not created to be fully integrated with JomSocial so you have to customize it a little bit starting from templates/gk_appsprotech\layouts\default.php (line 70) if you know what I mean.

 Remember that JomSocial is commercial product and is not ours. So we can help some but more is not typical support.

I understand. Thank you. Do you know where I can find the line of code that has the link to the registration? I'd like to change this link (http://www.virtualwag.com/index.php?opt ... gistration).

To this: http://www.virtualwag.com/community/register.

That will solve all my problems! Thanks,

Check this file (line 16): templates/gk_appsprotech\layouts\blocks\tools\login.php
this should be it.
