Switching between mobile & desktop site not reliable

Hello,
I am experiencing inconsistent results when switching between mobile and desktop templates.

The phones switch between mobile and desktop layouts half way through menu navigation.
Sometimes the phone reverts to the mobile template by itself.

This happens on iPhone, iPad and android devices.

Any suggestions on where to start looking?

Ok. First of please try if it's happening when cache is disapled. I suspect it's a cache issue. Let me know what You've observed.
