Hello,

Modules in header and banner positions don't have any formating options with the use of suffixes. How can this be enabled?

Thank you.

You can add suffix directly in module that you publish at this positions. Every module settings should have field for suffix.

There is a suffix field for the modules, but it just has not effect on the modules in banner and header position. I have tried all the suffixes possible ( ' nsp dark', ' nsp color2', ' dark', etc...). Unless I missed something. When I moved the module into other positions like top1, the suffix then acts normally.

Could you send me link to example page where you use suffixes ? I need to check this via firebug and of course you use News Show Pro module if you use .nsp suffix ?

I don't use the NSP module, I just wanted to point that I tested all the suffixes possible.
This is the link to the site, the positions are occupied on the home page:
www.tahitireviews.com

Even the title is not visible on those positions.

Thank you for the help.

I think I know where is the problems, the suffixes are not working because they are designed only for News Show Pro module - if any suffix contains .nsp before it will work only with News Show Pro module.

Hello,

as I said in the previous response, I am not using the nsp suffix. I just meant I tried it but I actually use ' dark' suffix. Have you checked on the site? The ' dark' suffix is set but the module is just floating with empty background. I need to emphasis this module and make it more noticeable.

I've checked this issue on our template, result you can see here >> http://goo.gl/oyq29, then on your site and ... I don't see anywhere at this Banner1 module suffix ' dark' or any suffix. Please check >>

http://goo.gl/CK7xs

In my opinion it is caused by this module scripts but please try to publish simple HTML code on this position using default Joomla! HTML module to see results, and let me know.

If I put my modules in the top positions (like top1, top2...), then the suffix formating appear normally, but when the module is moved back to the banner1 or banner2 position then nothing happens. See the screenshot for the module tunings.

I agree with you when you say that the suffix does not appear in firebug. That's why I mentioned earlier that something prevents the suffix to act on these modules positions (banner and header). They must be like the footers position where no formating normally occur, and I was wondering how to enable the suffixes on these positions.

Note that I can't even make the title appear even if it is set in the module admin.

I don't mean to be picky and I'm sorry if I hurt anybody's feeling but the original message was posted a week ago and I still don't have a hint on how I can fix this. I don't know if it is possible or not and where to start... This thread look like another thread I opened about the Facebook connect plugin that could not work on my site. No fix was proposed and I ended up buying a separate component to do it because no one could help till the problem was fixed. I know that I am not the only one who requests some help but I consider that not even having a start of a solution, or at least having someone of the support team considering seriously my problem is not acceptable.

I don't have a very hight expectation from the support team regarding my subscription, but a minimum should be fine.

Thank you for your consideration.

I've checked your source code and the module that you use not takes a suffix but this is not template issue but this module. Please publish clean HTML code on this page as I asked you and use suffix you will see the results.

I have already posted a module in header position with ' dark' suffixe. Nothing shows up. See this url:
http://www.tahitireviews.com/Aide/chart ... alite.html
On this page look at the 'test' module. And also note that the title doesn't appear, but I have set it in the module config.

Disregard the banner1 position since I hard coded the modifications to look like the ' dark' suffix. But that doesn't satisfy me since all the modules will look like this now. Only look at the header position.

And as I said previously, I moved the jReviews module into some other positions like top... and the suffixe works and the title apprear. So this is not about the nature of the module content!
