Hi Gavick!
Me and other users having problem to update the quickstart to joomla.2.5.4
I think there is a problem updating the quickstart package to J2.5.4 and to the latest version of the template.
Could you investigate?
Thanks!

Hi

Sorry. I've made additional tests for a different user request and still had no problem with template quickstart.

Please send me an access to Your joomla panel. I'll see error messages at least.

Hi

Yes now I got it. Unfortunately this error doesn't tell me anything but that joomla is broken. Probably a file got corrupted while was uploaded or downloaded from server. Try overwrite it with regular joomla 2.5 installation to fix file structure.

Here is a screen with my copy where I had no such problem, because I've tried one more time, but couldn't reproduce the error at all.

Hi

There is clearly a problem so I would like to try make it myself and check. Please send me an access to ftp and database access so I'll be able to try set it myself.

Hi

Sorry but I cannot connect to ftp with an access You send me. I just got an information that "I/O Error: Not a valid DAV response". So it look it's recognizing this access as ftp at all.

Hi

I've installed quickstart in /v2 folder on Your server. Had no problem to update it to joomal 2.5.4. So I believe it must have been a broken file during upload after all. I'm gonna send You all login details via PM and a link to screenshot to prove it.

Hi

I haven't done anything special.

1. Download package from Gavick
2. Unzip it on my computer
3. Send files to the server
4. Run installation

I'm using Cyberduck as FTP client which double check file integrity, so I'm sure all files are intact. So maby this was the key to success.
