.htacess problem?

to remove the index.php from the title-htaccess.tht replaced by. htaccess
and included a redirect url
does not work ((

Hi

Yes it's about htaccess.
Have You renamed htaccess.txt to .htaccess ?
Is mod_rewrite enabled in SEF settings ?

If this both things are met than it has to be a problem with server configuration and You should contact Your host provider.

the funniest thing on a test that the service is not working
but the same provider with the same settings on my site, this all works

Hi

That's really common :) Mod revrite is enabled for a domain, so for example in 20% of cases using an IP which basicly leads to the same page will make it not work. All depends of server configuration.
