Changing images not working?

Hi guys,

I've just made my return to Joomla after several years away and it appears I have forgot everything!

I've installed the theme with Sample content just to get used to it again. I'm now trying to replace the sample images on the articles, yet they continue to show up on the slider as sample ones, not the new ones.

Am I being a total moron? If I am I apologise.

The Dev site is on a domain I am not using at the moment and it's solely for testing purposes.

www.decerto.org - As you can see, some of the images are changing, but not the slider etc and I'm not sure why!

Addtionally, I want to keep the layout the same - but basically delete the existing articles and change the categories before importing Wordpress Data and doing a migration of users from IPB Forums (Arranging the import)

When i delete the articles or change the category names however, I got a 1604 error. Would someone be so kind as to tell me what needs changing in each section for this?

You see 1064 error when even one module is tryng to show an article which doesn't exists (was removed).

Slider is not using images from articles. Each image has been added there separately.

To renew images in some ocasions You need to delete a content from modules. For example /modules/mod_news_pro_gk5/cache

Yeh I seemed to hit a bug where even when I cleared cache and the category selected had articles, it still 1064'd.

Anyway, I re-installed and used my imported data from Wordpress straight away this time - no problems.

I do have 2 other questions however.

1. How do I get the side blocks on the "Article pages" - as an example, here is a photo of my current look.



2. My author info is distorting and I've found that if I embed a YouTube video it gets even worse?



3. I'm using Kunena Forum software and the "Blend with theme" option looks awful. Do you guys have any CSS I could use to blend it "better" - I'd much appreciate it if it's possible.

4. When I attach or upload a new image via K2 articles, it seems to be storing them in the K2 cache rather than a media library (I can't select the image to re-use it) - is this how it should be or am I doing something wrong?

1. You need to publish some moules in sidebar position attached to the page with article.

2. Please tell me the exact url to the page with example. Looks like a validation error, but I need to check.

4. It's how K2 works, but to make a workaround You need to contact K2 developers.
