I am currently on localhost
The registration popup form works when clicked, and it disappears when clicked away. However, even if its not visible, it is still there. The slider beneath is not clickable anymore and you can even see the 'fill in the required field' tags when you hover over the positions

Any idea why this would happen and how to fix that?

Without access to your testing site I cant help. It might be anything.
Only thing I can advice You - test module by turning them off and on - perhaps one of them interrupts popup scripts.

Ok the website is online now at http://tipslator.com

I looked deeper at it and the problem arises when I add the below code to override css (I got that code from another post on this forum in order to overcome the size problem of the registration popup when recaptcha is used ie. when recaptcha is used, the popup is not long enough to show the end of the form (register/cancel button))

Code: Select all
#gkPopupRegister {
    height: 685px !important;
}

When that code is added, the popup stays there even if you cannot see it. (the code is added at this moment, so you will notice if you hover over breaking news area)

Another problem is the 2 register button. this is not tied to the other problem, even if I remove the override code, there are still 2 register buttons. I add the screenshot below:

Please update your template - it seems that in current version this bug is fixed already.

Hi,

unfortunatelly the problem persists even though I have updated the template to the latest version.

If I disable the captcha plugin, there are 2 register buttons.

If I enable the captcha plugin but select 'none' in the global configuration, the popup seems like it works properly, but obviously you cannot register due to empty area.

Also, a new problem has arrived with the update. Now, there are tooltips that popups when you hover over field titles, and they totally cripple the layout of the form.

Well, without the registration option, my site isnt really going anywhere :) can you help me out?

Sadly - without access to a page where all those problems resists, I cant help much (right now everything seems right to me).
Could You create a duplicate of Your site, where all problem will be visible?

Sorry for not updating status. I have enabled recapctha plugin but chose 'none' in the global configuration. It seems to work around the problem. Well, I dont have the recaptcha but its better than not having the registration form :)

I think we can close this topic now.
