Hello there

I am using the League News template and I have two questions for the experts :)

my first one is how to make the right and the left column having the same default blue background as the template when in the right/left column are not published any modules ? I understand that I need to have a picture with the same dimensions as my left and right column but where should I put the css code for background ?

And the second one is how to adjust padding between banners. The code in banners is custom html code and I can put at each code in the end of the line something like <p></p> but I need something more css expert.

Thank you

The left or right columns should NOT be visible when there are no modules inside so surely there is something wrong in your installation. Please give us your site URL because it is hard to help with any CSS changes without seeing live site.

I suppose you did not understand my question, or I missed something
First of all I would like to thank you for your patient

Let me explain a little bit more

First of all, it happens on all pages and it is a normal situation, I suppose
the columns (left and right) are always visible, because there is always content, is that wrong ?

Let's say I have one module published on both sides, left and right, and I have 3 full articles on mainbody, would the remaining of space on both sides would be white ?

Image

in this picture I have published 2 modules on the left and 4 on the right, and some articles on mainbody. As you can see the remaining space on both modules is white, because there is not any published module. And here is my question, can I replace this white background with the blue image ? (images/style1/bg_pattern.jpg)

In other words I want to replace the default white background with bg_pattern.jpg image

thank you for another time :)

Please make sure that your template is up to date because I've checked this and here is a result >> http://d.pr/i/JQDE All article details are visible. What source you use ? Joomla! articles or K2 items ?

It seems that template update option does not operate well cause it always showed "Your template is up to date", but there was an update. OK then, I had 3.5 something version and I installed the final 3.8 ver but the problem seems not to be solved.

I use Joomla articles, and simply changing template the problem disappears, that is definitely a template bug. I load the default json configuration to eliminate the possibility causing the bug any customization of mine but still nothing. Any proposal ?

Still waiting if having any proposal in my previous questions too (sorry for gathering too much stuff).

If you only want to replace the background color of remaining space yes it is possible. Please provide me access to your installation because I want to add some test article and see why this article info is not visible. You don't make any custom changes in this area ?
