I'm using K2 and I did cut and paste the social code found in my item.php template file and was able to move the Social Buttons to the top of the article but when I do that the social buttons appear vertically instead of the default horizontally which I prefer.

Thank you, now add this code to CSS Override to fix it:
Code: Select all
.itemSocialSharing div {
    float: left;
}

Let me know if it helps.

Unfortunately that didn't work I copied and pasted it in override.css under Template Manager for League News

Still the same problem.

Good news but I have a question...??

It works when I put the code you supplied in the k2.css template file but not in the override.css file. I'm trying to put other css changes in the override file so it stays organized but nothing i put in there works.

Do you know why the override.css file is not overriding anything?

Thanks!

Hi,

Please make sure that you have turned on CSS Override mode in template setting. It should work.

Thanks. I just found out that info by click under Advanced Settings in the template manager and sliding css override to yes.

I was about to add "Solved" at beginning of the topic's title but since it's too long so there wasn't enough space to input more. Leave it like how it is now as well, nobody cares I guess :D

I am having this same problem of the after-edit social icons appearing vertically (instead of horizontally) after an edit of the unwanted icons in the module manager. In my case I just deleted the unwanted social icons leaving only FaceBook, Twitter and YouTube. But now all three icons are stacked on top of each other which doesn't look clean. What is more, the FaceBook icon appears to be different (doesn't look like FB). Any help is appreciated: http://americanfootballfilms.org/
