K2 update to 2.5.5.

Hi,
Just installed League News Template.
The K2 version in the pack is 2.5.4
Question : do you think I can update manually K2 to its latest version (2.5.5.) (with no fear of messing up anything) or should I wait for Gavick to update the template package ?

Yes you can install it manually because there is no important changes in the component views
