eSport with Virtuemart > Upgrade to Joomla 3.x

Is it safe to perform an upgrade of the Joomla 2.5 with Virtuemart deployment of eSport to Joomla 3 ? Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
All Joomla content upgrade/migration can be a time-consuming and difficult process,
so all steps should be done on test version.
About VM migration you should read on VM forum.
About upgrade template - you have to install new version after Joomla upgrade process.
