css and js with gk4 news show

I would like to optimize the site speed as a final touch of the website before go online .
I have done some thing also with template configuration but i have problem with template setting advance css and javascript compression .
It doesn't work correct with gk4 news show + virtuamart also with the exclussion that are preset from your side .
I need to fix this matter because is the most important for make site faster .
You can also check yourself in my website as you have the login information from previous time or is there is a simple solution please inform me.
Another matter that possibly have to do with all the above is that in the homepage now when reload it for second time have the following error ''error loading component com_users 1''

I've made some tests, but looks like all the problems were becuase You have used multiple optimisation solutions. There were a template optimisation options and JCH plugin enabled. When I disabled template options for tests, everything started to work fine. So I left it only with JCH and a joomla standard cache. I've clicked it throught just a little bit, so please check it as well and write me down if You will find anything. I remember that with JCH I had to exclude VM javascript from compressing in some cases, so I expect some problems with that as well.

unfortunately it happen what i was says.
the gk4 gk5 news show and slideshow is not working .
I install another css and js compression because the template css and js compression didn't work .
on the other hand the virtuemart work just fine , all the problems are in gk modules.

You mean modules on frontpage? There are 4 our modules there and i see all of them working fine. Please tell me the browser you are checking it in and URL or screens with how it looks like for you.

yes i mean this module in front page . i check it with macbook/safari and also windows vista/chrome . Both cases are not working correct . Are been showing but not working at all

I also check in past with another computer with chrome and also the same problem. gk news show and slideshow are not work correctly

Sorry, my mistake. I was using JFinalizer instead of JCH and got used to the option that javascript libraries were excluded from compressing as default. I've excluded all of them manually and now everything works fine:

Looks like a problem with mobile scripts locked by JCH. Please send me an FTP access. I need to remove couple of lines from mobile layout files and test which option will work best.

1. it is possible to set virtuemart category root as home page ??
2.in virtuemart category root show products and i would like to disable.
3.Can i change the menu , search and close word ??

1. You cannot change the structure of menu. Home element needs to be the same for any layout, but You may use modules to show products, etc...
2. I do not understand this one, but I think You men to disable some of the links. It's possible, but it would require some additional scripts. I'm afraid we do not support that, but if this would be static than let me know which menu options to remove and I'll thing of something.
3. You can change them in language file for this template in /languages/en-GB/ folder
4. Of course, just please use module positions available for mobile: mobile_top and mobile_bottom.

No need to look for the place where this code is. Please just add it to override.css and make sure override in template settings is enabled.

neither the letter was change or the gavick footer was left.
also now checking the site , the template have too many backgrount images and also call a image that it show as mistake in the on line tools analyzer

I've added my code to override.css and enabled override in template settings. Than I had to clear cache to see the difference.

What is an image from a different template doing in our template ? Are You sure it;s not because of modifications ? I have scanned clean version of gk_esport template and there is no such name for file mentioned. Could this be loaded by some module ?

Do not worry about too many backgrounds. For validator it would be best to use just one, but it's not always possible.

I found Your access, but I'm not sure what to do with it. Do You mean to remove this extra image called ? Which module was it ?

the matter with the image not fount is one and the other is the slideshow .
I send you access information for slideshow that doesn't work correct as describe before that is something that should be fix and about image if it is possible would be nice to remove it.

To locate the extra file I need to make a backup and scan files on my computer, but unfortunately I cannot install akeeba backup component. Is file upload disabled or maybe there is no space on the server ?

There was an error uploading this file to the server.

Please tell me what was the problem with slideshow ? I've enabled it and can see it working just fine. Links are wrong, but they are set directly in a module.

Esport is an older template, from time when mobile browsers were not entirely accepting javascripts, so javascripts are removed on mobile. Please edit all files in folder: /lauoyts/blocks/mobile/head.NAMEofDEVICE.php and remove this 2 line from each of them:

I still do not understand what You mean by "about the scan you told me for find why show this photo in template ???" If it's about the slider than the only problem is that links are wrong, but this links are set manualy in slide settings.
If You mean this line1.png file than please check module named "Επικοινωνία" this image is set in it's content.

To hide copyrights template settings works in my copy and I do not know why it's not working for You, meybe You need to enter Your copyrights first. Anyway You can hide it with this code:

I have never thought about thatt ;/ Most of templates are using similar module positions, but I believe there always be some kind of problems. I think best would be to try with templates which was released close to this one, so changes in framework will not be so different.
