Replace Gavick menu with CK maxi menu

I'm trying to put a CK maxi menu on this template in the position of the main menu and i can't make it work. It looks like if i close gavick menu the position 7 of the template shuts down. The only place i can place it is the submenu position. How can i make this replacement?

All that you can do is to disable menu via template settings in Menu configuration tab and then publish your new menu on some regular module template position. Please remember that 'mainmenu' is exclusive only for our menu and you can publish any other module there.
