Joomla 2.5.14+Virtuemart 2.0.22b and problem with Main Menu

Hi

I`m using Joomla 2.5.14+Virtuemart 2.0.22b.

If I selecting any items or any category I will have problem with menu and I my logo will disappear like in picture and style (background picture) of shop changing to picture from another style. Settings for template of site and categories are the same and correct.



What is a problem?

Hard to tell with just a small screenshot, but there is a small vm bug which has a similar behaviour. Please try set the "default" template in virtuemart settings which is a method to fix it. If this will not help please tell me the url to the page where You've made this screenshot.

I`m forget how I can show main menu like in template? I`m hide it but now I want to show it.

I`m check again. Its doesn`t work. If I change template of site and category to default I can`t select any goods on web-site. New pages don`t open with selected item

You've misunderstood me. I've meant to change the template to default in VM settings. You probably have changed it in template manager. Two different things. Anyway please send me an access to joomla panel so I'll check this configuration and if this is not the problem than will look for a solution elsewhere.

I've activated main menu in template settings.

I've also noticed that You may use one small fix. Add this to css:

h1#gkLogo {
    background-repeat: repeat;
}


Your problem with linking is because of a wrong menu structure. Products doesn't have a langing page, so joomla is trying to open it in frontpage where a component is disabled. Please simply add VM categories to menu and landing pages will be created.

That's because I could not see the problem yesterday without menu elements. Today I've switched to "Joomla default template" and layout id fixed. Anyway You still have a problem with links oppening on frontpage where component is disabled. You need to create category layout view for categories which has products in it. Right now there is one for "Top Level categories" which is empty.
