Page Redirect After User Clicks on "Check Out Now"

Dear Gavick,

I am having an issue with user redirect once user clicks on "Check Out Now."

According to you demo, user should get redirected to the page where he/she can enter address and can checkout as a guest.

In my case I am being redirected to a log in page. What can be different from your demo?

This depens of your VirtueMart settings, please only notice that in latest VM there are severl changes in check-out process so it may looks different. Please make sure that you've enabled simple check-out mode, yo u'll surely find this option in VirtueMart configuration.

Hi there. Thanks for writing me back. I just checked VM config and couldn't find "simple mode." Is it worded differentlt?

Please make sure that your options look like here Storebox VirtueMart configuration option 'ask for registration' is the most important here.

Thanks for the screenshot. I just checked and it still doesn't work. As far as changes with the new update, I think it should still work as on your demo. I can give you the back-end access if you need.

After click on 'Check-out' button you should see this view >> https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/6620832/Zrzut%20ekranu%202013-08-13%20o%2010.36.08.png if you get different view, please switch to Beez template and check the result.

It looks like after switching the template, I still have the same issue. I wonder what the real problem is, because it's not a template issue. :(

Fixed within 5 minutes. I had VM "Account Maintenance" menu item set to be "Registered" access. And the menu module was also set to "Registered."

Once set the menu item to "Public" everything worked just fine.

I am sorry for wasting your time. However, you did help. So thank you very much for your help and time.

Thanks for sharing your solution. In previous VirtueMart version there are several settings related with checkout process but now it looks like they are cut.
