Reduce Menu background image width

I want to reduce the width of the image on the background of the menu(on left side) as it conflict with my logo. Please help.

doesn't work.. attaching a screenshot of how it looks . Want to remove the menu bar on the left of Home, so that when i add a logo, the menu bar doesn't appear beneath it.

I suppose that small (standard) logo works, yes?
But you have got a very large (long) logo. How many px in width? Is it white with transparency or color?

First time, I understand that you want to change the size of the background under the logo, not the same logo.

Add URL it will help more then small picture
