Hi

You need to create landing pages for this module first. This means that You need to add a category layout to each of this categories to menu. It doesn't have to be a menu which You will use on the site, it's just to create itemid where You will be able to attach a module to.

to get it straight..i need to create a "hidden" menu and then create items for as many categories i have? or one item that will refer to all categories?

I have created menu items for each category and sub-category but now i am stuck..what are the next steps so that to make the list of categories appear on each sub-categories pages? is it possible that the subcategories open as dropdown?

thank you!

Hi

I do not quite understand what You mean with Your last question, but I think You've meant that You want to show all categores in menu dropdown. Right ? Than You just need to move this newly created menu items to one of the existing options in main menu.

Anyway did creating this new menu gave You an option to manipulate modules to add them to this new pages only ?

Hi there,

I have already done that...what I am trying to do is to have the categories list show up in every product / sub-category listing page and not just the home page..even if i followed your suggestion to create a new "hidden" menu with all the categories and sub categories structure still i cannot do it...what am i missing?

thx in advance for all the support!

Hi

Please send me an access to joomla panel. I'll try to make it and see what's wrong.
