Multilanguage problem

I need some assistance with the setup of 2 languages in the e-sport template. I am working on a quick start version and for some reason i lost the frontpage layout after enabling the multilanguage functionality.
should i create/clone each module component and assign it to the respective language?

can you please help me so that to get this to work as it supposed to..

i did copy each module using the batch process but still the frontpage layout is not working in any language. can you please help me to solve it out?
