I've messed up a setting somewhere

for example

when you click the image, it used to just "jump" out, but now when you click it, it opens the url location?

Hard to tell but I'm guessing it's becuase the extension which pops up the box while openning the site. Please try if disabling it makes a difference.

Thanks it wasn't that pop up it was "Modalizer" another i installed!

Modalizer is a standard joomla popup function, so it was presend there all the time Anyway I'm glad You have found a solution.
