After I updated the template to Gavern v.2.12.1 and on Joomla 2.5.7, the page is not found, and it appears the error 404.

Hi

I see such problem for the first time. Please extend my access so I'll be able to see global settings. I think it can be connected with SEF links. Please send me an FTP access too, so I'll update the template manually just to be sure.

Hi

I've changed template to a default one and this problem is still there. Which means it's a joomla problem not our template. Can You please tell me how You've made an update for joomla ? I can see there is a message: "The PHP allow_url_fopen setting is disabled. This setting must be enabled for the updater to work." when I tried to reinstall it. Please enable this settings on server and try reinstall via joomla panel. If it will still not working than report here back please.

Hi,
I now have enabled the "allow_url_fopen" and updatet Joomla to 2.5.8, but the error 404 still exists.

Hi

I meant to reinstall not update it. I'm hoping this is a broken file issue and replacing all joomla files will help for such matter. Of course this can be a different problem, but it's good to exclude this one for start.

Hi

Sorry. I have seen similar error before and this was the way to fix it. But Your problem is really simple :) There is no default menu item selected. I had not idea it's possible to have it like that since You cannot delete a default item. But I've checked and looks like this is the problem. Also You should have this default item set for each language You have installed and a separated one for all (where language will be recognized and redirected). Here is an instruction of how should it looks like: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/qu ... oomla-1-7/
