yet another problem

I cannot find where to edit my terms of service also when I try to edit it from the cart popup itself e.g

You haven't configured any terms of service yet. Click here to change this text.

When i click the "here" link I get webpage cannot be found help I need to get this sorted out.

hello sorry for posting on a different board.

The new virtuemart does not have this information to change.

When I click store to edit I only get three menus "Additional Information", General User Information, Order List

I have also tried "Configuration" this infromation is not there.

Maybe am I the wrong user is there an administrator user that has more opitions?

I am logged in as the super user?

I am wasteing hours on this problem going round in circles.

To edit the store and to save many settings of VirtueMart you have to be a Vendor.

In the VM backend, under Shop if you don't see a Vendor tab it is because you did not identify your Super User account as a Vendor.

As the first registered Superuser (you set up Joomla did you not?) go to the VirtueMart control panel, go to Orders & Shoppers/Shoppers, put a check in the box in front of your account and click on the green vendor button.

Now when you edit the Store you will see a Vendor tab to add/edit your store information.

Once again the poblem is not over sorted out one problem but now when I edit the text it does not appear in the popup now. Just a standard terms of service heading. I am getting tired of this joomla and virtuemart stuff, this should work. I am about to kick the computer screen in.

Ok just an update to the problem you can see the terms of service when you are logged in as a registered customer. I want to terms of service to show to everybody even quests. I have checked the box show terms of service but it still does not show unless you login. What can be done thanks

What is going on with this I have now spent 2 days trying to get this sorted out.

When I log in as the admin through the frontend of the website as a customer and you go to the cart to checkout. The terms of service pop up is not blank it has all the info there.

When I come on the site if I was a customer not logged in or used the site before and want to buy a go kart in this case. Go to the check out want to read the terms of service click on the link the pop up is blank.

Why does it show one way and not the other. Getting very frustrating havent brothered to go updateing the rest of the site because I might have to forget this whole thing. I paid for this template on qavickpro it should work as I have not modified anything. Just has wasted my time and money cant get the website on goolge ads yet because it does not work.

The main problem is that this issue is not depend of template or any other GavickPro product. You should redirect your question to VirtueMart authors. I know this is not the best extension and have several bugs but this is the best free store component. Please look at VirtueMart forum for all questions related with thus 3rd party extensions - there you will find experts in VM area. Here I can help you with all template related issues but not with some external component.
