Hi

Your website is loading 2.6 MB.
Here's some advices:

- Try reduce the pages of News Show Pro GK4 with VM articles.
- Reduce thumbnails quality to (i.e) 75% and set cache to 30 minutes on NSP and reduce image quality to 75% on Image Show module.
- On template parameters > "Advanced Settings" you can enable "Use GK Cache", "CSS cache", "CSS compression" and "JavaScript compression".
- Most important! After enable the "Use GK Cache" parameter, you must go to Plugin Manager and enable also "System Cache Plugin" or GK Cache will not work properly.

Cheers

Hi again

For example, you can use firebug extension on Firefox.
This is very... better, one of the most important tools for web developers ;)

Any new ideas?

I`m thinking of replacing all the images with lower quality.

Well... you could try to reduce number of pagination pages on News Show Pro modules.
You can enable css and js compression on template advanced settings, but in this case you might need to add some exclusions, like for example k2 store js, because sometimes compression generates problems on specific scripts.
Code: Select all
com_k2store/js/k2store.js

I`ve downsized all the images, removed one of the modules which uses NSP, and the other NSP module is changed to two pages - so still slow loading.

If you test your page loading speed at Google Page Speed you've got an overall PageSpeed Score of 41 (out of 100).

They show there more possible ways to improve speed.
What i do see that you still didn't try to use css and js compress option on template parameters.

Cheers
