Hello
I am having a problem with rokajaxsearch. When I enable gk_esport template it doesnt return any results.
If I use gk_mystore without change anything else it works fine.
I think it is a js conflict but I don't know how to correct it.
My webiste is www.comworld.gr

Yes that's the odd. It seems to work but it always return no results. If I change it to gk_mystore(without changing anything else) it returns results fine. Try digi for example which I have many products in http://www.comworld.gr/zygoi-lianikon-p ... ypoti.html and you will see that although there are products it still doesnt return any results.
I read somewhere that rokajaxsearch uses mootools maybe you find something with that hint.

Hi,

I have checked but not found anything wrong, can you please upgrade the both templates to the latest versions and test again?

Maybe you didn't understand . If I change the template to gk_mystore everything is working great(just the template nothing else) . When I change it back to gk_esport the search module doesnt return any results although it seems to be working. In gk_mystore it returns the results fine so it's not module problem. I have both templates updated. I tried another search module in localhost and it has exactly the same problem so I don't think it's a coincidence. I think it has something to do with javascript modules .

But I checked and realized that those two templates don't have the same version of Gavern Framework, that's why I asked to upgrade to compare again.

What should I upgrade? both templates are downloaded a week ago. Gk_esport is more recent installed so I have the latest version. I download esport once more and install it. Can you check it again. Can I update only the framework for the template?

Thank you, since I couldn't check the version numbers of the template so I asked you to upgrade to make sure that you have got the latest versions.

I have just checked again and I don't think it's totally caused by the template but there must be something wrong with the ajax search module as well, because, when I search for "digi", the module will load this link http://www.comworld.gr/index.php?type=r ... 5549342019

As you can see, that link shows search result successfully but somehow the module can't get the content to show in its place. So can you please contact with the author of that module to get some advice as well?

Thanks,

If you change to that template, the link above still shows the same result, that means the search component and template work properly. I hope you understand.

I am sorry but I can understand it. I already show that this link is showing the results. this is the search script. But how can the same module to work fine with another template of yours and to have problem showing results in this template and to be module problem?
I tried offlajn universal ajax search too but I have exactly the same problem only with gk_esport.with mystore is working. Anything it has to do with ajax search is not working properly.

Never mind I will use only the default search. Can you tell me why the website gives me an error in http://www.comworld.gr/zygoi-lianikon-p ... ypoti.html
File: :read: cannot open file /home1/comworl1/public_html/ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.6.4/jquery.min.js
I saw a solution that had to change something in k2.php but it didn't work for me (not in all pages)

I solved it. But I have problems with search in generally. I don't know if this is something with the template or virtuemart maybe you can help me. I am using default search module of virtuemart. When I search something that exists everything working ok but when I search something that doesnt exist it return me a blank page and the 3 modules that are in bottom position loose their css (they have no background)

Hi

Search problem looks like a broken file in joomla, please simply reinstall it. If this will not help please let me know.
