Pop up cart showing wrong thumb nails for products

Hello again,

I seem to be having a strange problem that no one else is... when I add an item to the cart and click on the "show cart" link that pops up a light box- some of the image thumbnails are incorrect. (see image)


As you can see the product last added (kushies training pants), shows a thumb of a gift card (you can see what the image should look like behind the light box).

When you go to the actual shopping cart page, all the thumbs are correct and it's not a case of having the wrong image in the media table.... so I am stumped on what it could be. This issue has been going on prior to the update from VM 2.0.2 to 2.0.4 and does not happen all the time or only with certain products. It's, as far as I can tell... RANDOM.

Using Joomla 2.5.3 and VM 2.0.4 (I've also done the most recent update for the eSport template)

any help and/or guidance is appreciated.

In case anyone else is having the same issue, I have figured out the culprit: it has to do with the SKUs. The thumbnails are generated from the SKU so only the products with an SKU will have the correct thumbnail in the cart. So my issue was fixed by simply going through and adding SKUs to all my products.
