Bigger images in category

Hi

I have 3 rows in categories instead of 4, it means I can put bigger images there, the problem is I don´t know hot to do it. With firebug I thought I have to change line 846 of templates/css/vm.css, but if I put there the size I want the image has a distorsion.

Changing size in virtuemart configuration/templates nothing changes
