e-Sport Demo Layout

I'm wondering if anyone would be able to identify the various modules, positions and modifications used on the e-Sport demo home page as I figure out how to better customize the template. Being relatively new, I know it probably should be obvious, but I've found that learning this helps me in learning how to customize the template for my own needs. Your expert knowledge is appreciated!!

Please re-direct me if this has already been addressed, or is located in documentation somewhere else.

The best option is to use the quickstart package and installed on local server.
You can install a local server on your computer that will simulate all online environment server.
I can recommend XAMPP local server.
If you search on YouTube you will find plenty of videos that demonstrates how to install and use this free software.
Them just make a normal joomla installations using the quickstart files.
With this method you can test and take acquaintance of all the demo settings and configurations.
