Multilanguage: switch flags not showings

Hello. I'm working on thtis template to do a multilanguage eshop.
I've installed the various module i need.. italian, french and english (already installed)

I've unpublished the "Customer Service: 1.800.800.8080" module (topnav)

I've put the switch in the "topnav" position... I can see the text for various languages but i can't see the flags and consequentially the way to switch languages.

If i put the switcher in a diffent module for example banner1 i can see them, but on 2 lines and taking a lot of spaces.

How can i show them correctly on only one row and in the topnav position?

sry... the correct position is "pagetop" not topnav... my bad...

any help or hint?
