Error eSport Joomla 2.5.1 Virtuemart 2.0.2 product details

Hi,

Just did a quickstart installation of Esport...so far so good...than I updated Joomla to the latest (2.5.1) and VM to the latest (2.0.2). Site seems to work fine accept when you go to product details. This error comes up:

templates/gk_esport/html/com_virtuemart/productdetails/default.php on line 80

Another issue is that on some pages this warning comes up (in cart mostly) :

!! The choosen template couldnt found on the filesystem: gk_eSport

Don't know if those errors are related. Any help will be highly appreciated.

I don´t get this error message but the productdetails are all empty in my case - except of the product name and rating. See attachment. The earlyer versions of VM (2.0.1h) worked - but the later versions (2.0.1n and 2.0.2 final) do not work any more. I guess, VM changed some things and the template needs an update.

When will it be released? I also recognise unusable style differences in the "News Show Pro GK4" module after updating to VM 2.0.1 and above - all styles as in the quickstart package do not work any more.

Sorry, Upload of Screenshots do not work - take a look to the site at www.tiramizu.de - the product details only show an all empty site without any template

Same problem here... There was a lot of errors with the earlier versions of VM and the final 2.0.2 is not displaying the product pages at all... and this is probably not the only issue with that.

I'm almost done with the project but I cannot launch it unless everything is working properly... I guess I will have to lauch the site without the store and wait untill it's sorted.

Hello... Template could not be found issue is fixed by going into the backend and choosing the correct tempate in the configuration. You may even need to choose it for the category and specific product as well. Had the same problem and fixed it.

The main issues are with the template over-rides that Gavick did. They need to update the template to include new over-rides so anyone who downloads and expects this template to work with 2.5 will have issues. Looks to me like they need a programmer to fix all this, otherwise the people installing the template will need to fix numerous errors themselves. Right now I am doing just that, comparing the vm 2.0.2 files with the template over-rides in the e-sport template.

No product display is caused by a recent change to the print/pdf/email function, implemented by Virtuemart developers from Version 2.0.1h onward. It is easily fixed. See this thread for the solution:

a temporary solution is to comment lines 80 and 81.
The site return to function.
