plugin gk_opengraph and system.gkextmenu

I would like to know what do the plugins gk_opengraph and system.gkextmenu and what happens if I don't install them.

The open graph plugin support open graph in our template (more you can find here >> https://developers.facebook.com/docs/opengraph/) without gkextemenu plugin you cannot use some menu features like columns etc.
