Fonts and Newest Products Module looks quite different

Hi there!

I´d like to build a site that looks like the demo but can´t set the fonts and the style of the Newest Products Module on the front page. What do I do wrong? Isn´t it the standard VirtueMart Module called "VirtueMart products"?
Then I liked to switch the fonts - no change at all! What´s the matter? Can anybody send me the module settings?

This is New Show Pro module, why don't you use quickstart package ? After quickstart installation you will have the same view like in our demo site.

I don´t like the quickstart package because of two reasons:

1. I don´t like to clean up all the demo content and I want a clean setup of the newest components. For example there where many bugs in VM 2.0.0 and it did not work with J!2.5 - so I built it with the newest parts and bugfixed releases and it works now!

2. I want to understand how the different modules work. A quickstart package does not help me there.


No I installed the New Show Pro module but got problems again. The style does not look like the demo and if I want to show random products and/or the newest products I can´t see what to configure. The module is empty or always the same products are shown. Is it possible to give me a screenshot of the correct settings? This would be great!

And by the way - the product links in the News Shop Pro module do not work. I just get a blank page with the Headline and a subheadline... take a look at http://www.tiramizu.de

So what do I do wrong and how can I set the styles of the demo to an existing site?
The fonts do not work at all!

As you mentioned I installed the quickstart package and imported the articles into the database - the fonts work now, but the style of the modules at the front page do still look different. What do do now???

How do I get an answer? Everything looked okay until I updated virtuemart to a J!2.5 compatible release (2.0.1n). What is to do now? I installed the quickstart package as it was at http://shoprelaunch.tiramizu.de

Regarding your style issues,

Virtuemart css files are overwriting template styles. Perhaps you have updated virtuemart to latest version.
There is an updated template file and package version 2.7, please try this version as it is updated to support virtuemart 2.2 then if there are any errors we will try to fix together.

You can see your template version by following below;

Extension > Manage > Choose Type " Templates "
or
By editing below file and look for <version>2.7.0</version>

/templates/gk_esport/templateDetails.xml

Checking your site at http://shoprelaunch.tiramizu.de, I see following problem. When clicking on (+) in products you get a popup. If you move down the page and click on products add button again popup window is not in visual. Please use following css if you also encounter this error.

Please add above css in to "/templates/gk_esport/css/override.css" and then enable css override feature from template settings > Advanced Settings > Css override "on ".
